Ivan's consulting aspirations are to help organisations "do" change far more effectively than is generally the case, and in doing so to make a positive difference for those line managers and employees who so often find the process of change to be both a threatening and damaging experience.
His practice is a refreshingly pragmatic and workable blend of established and emergent change management approaches drawing on his current experiences as an external consultant and on 20 years experience in the high-technology and IT Services sectors, including director-level appointments in both operational HR and OD / Change specialist roles.
Ivan considers his best work with clients to be when he is co-designing interventions for sustainable change within the client system and as a facilitator of diverse groups, large and small.
He runs his own independent practice, Hickmott Consulting Ltd and works with a wide range of clients across the UK and Europe and includes Nokia,
Ernst &Young, Marks & Spencer, Agfa, ING and Sun Microsystems.
