Jon is a founding member of ‘Acintya’. With a background in psychology, his working history encompasses senior Human Resources roles within the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries and the NHS.
In 1999, after twenty years of best practice Jon decided to reconnect with his educational roots and question the orthodox understanding of growth and change.
“It was working on a large scale culture change initiative that finally convinced me that traditional change methods were just not sufficient to achieve what organisations were striving for”.
Three years and a Master’s degree later, Jon’s practice reflects a deeper, more questioning approach to development. Whether in one to one coaching assignments, small group interventions or in large-scale programmes, Jon works with clients to reveal the tacit knowledge and assumptions that influence their ability to achieve goals.
Sense making, Appreciative Inquiry, storytelling, and action learning are typical examples of Jon’s work.
